KABACAN, North Cotabato—Three scholars of Gov. Esmael “Toto” G. Mangudadatu of Maguindanao are about to leave on educational tour to California, United States of America. They will depart on October 2015. The tour is being sponsored by Gov. Mangudadatu himself. Their travel will cover a two month-long journey to several American states and other important sites of learning related to their courses.
The scholarship is under the program of the provincial leadership called Maguindanao Program Educational Assistance and Community Empowerment (MagPEACE).
The lucky student scholars are Miss Hudaifa K. Kanapia, 4th Year student who is taking up Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economy (BSAgEcon) at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), Kabacan, North Cotabato, Miss Rahma G. Pendatun, Senior student enrolled in Bachelor of Science in Farm System (BSFS) of the same University and Mr. Mohamad S. Mudsol, a graduating student taking up Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) in the same University.
Kanapia, Pendatun and Mudsol are selected on the basis of their good standing as scholars and their performance in classes. They are the fortunate grantees to travel to USA among many students in various colleges and universities enjoying MagPEACE in the region. From their abysmal heartfelt, they expressed thanks to the governor for the latter’s kindness to the scholars.
